Trentwood Families,
Wow, spring is really blooming and cruising along. We are officially starting our SBA testing this week. If your child is participating in the tests, please ensure they get a good night's sleep beforehand. We've sent home a separate letter detailing everything you need to know for each grade level involved in testing, so be sure to check it out if you haven't already.
Spring time is full of exciting events to celebrate the culmination of a wonderful school year. We have a lot going on this Spring: kindergarten graduation, 6th grade promotion, 3rd Trimester Awards Assembly, our annual Tiger Trot, Field Day, several classes are taking field trips, and several smaller PBIS celebrations.
As the weather starts to warm up, let's kindly remind ourselves and our little ones about our dress code guidelines: no exposed midriffs, underwear, or cleavage, please. And as always, let's keep our clothing choices positive, with nothing promoting drugs, alcohol, or containing profanity. For a refresher on our dress code policy, please refer to the student handbook. If you have any questions about this, feel free to reach out to me anytime.
Also, the end of the day release has a tendency to be chaotic with busses, walkers, parent parking and pickup, so we would love your support to help us ensure that students are being safe. Students should not be running in the front of the building, climbing on rocks, or riding bikes or scooters through the crowded area.
As always, thank you parents and guardians for your continued support. Please reach out to your children’s teachers or staff if you have any questions or concerns.
